Questions about Thermostat

First of all, thank you to everybody who has been giving me advice about my cooling system problem . So, is it hard to install a thermostat, I dont even know where the housing is. Does anybody have a description or diagram to help me out? Should I have it done professionally? Thanks again everybody.

Very easy to do. Definetely do it yourself.
The thermostat housing is located right underneath the intake elbow. Only 2 bolts (8mm I beleive) holding it in place and you won't even need a gasket or anything to replace it. About a 10 minute job for even someone who hasn't done it before.

Only thing to watch out for is fluid that might come flowing out once you get the thermostat out. Just place some rags around it and you'll be fine...not that much fluid comes out, but you don't want your opti getting wet
