Questions about some drag tires

I have 15 x 10 rims and I'm looking for the best tire to use for bracket racing and It has to be street legal for the class. I want to be able to drive to the track and be able to hook up hard. I'm not worried about breaking anything b/c I don't think that's possible with my setup (396 > Built TH400 > Chromemoly shaft > Dana 60 3.54)

I want the best there is and I'm not sure what the biggest that will fit under these cars. The rear is the same length as stock.

Some things I'm looking at are
1. MT ET Street 28x11.5x15
2. Hoosier QT Pro DOT 28x11.5x15
3. MT Sportsman Pro 26x12.5x15
4. Quick time DOT 295/50D-15
5.M&H Muscle car Drag 275/50-15

Any other suggestions???
Which is the best to go with.

I want real low 60ft. The converter stall is ~3200 so that is about where I'll launch. ( AS hugh as I can off of a line lock. Or just foot breaking)

I've had excellent results with the Hoosier QTP 28x11.5-15. It is a big tire though. It will have a negative effect on your rear axle ratio, making it act like 3.29 instead of like 3.54 with a 26" tire. You may also have problems with tire growth on the 28's. I found that at speeds over 125mph, the QTP's were growing enough to start hitting the sheet metal of the quarter panels.

Depends what you are going to throw at them... they responded well at the 635HP level for me. That was with a fairly soft hit off the line on the nitrous.

I like the 26x11.50/15 ET streets...but, I'm no bracket racer, so not sure what that's worth to you.
