Questions about my first LT1:)

Hi Guys,

I just picked up a 1995 LT1 TA with 120k miles and the mods are as follows: 306cam, ported heads flow #255/193, 30lb Ford Motorsports injectors, hooker LTs, 2.5in y-pipe,SLP Loudmouth, CSI WP, 58mm BBK TB, 1.6 Pro-Magnum Roller Rockers, 10308-1 Spring, Cloyes Double Timing chain, CC "R" lifters, 160 degree Thermostat, Hurst shifter, Lou's short stick, port and polished Mass Air Flow sensor, K&N Cold Air Intake, Eibach springs, LGM Adj. Pandhard, MSD coil, Nitto DRs, Throttle Body bypass, BMR adj. lower control arms, LT1 Edit.

My question is that it has two disconnected o2 sensors since they are out. The car bucks and jerks and just runs real rough when your foot is off the pedal coasting in gear, but if you give it gas and get the rpms up it stocks bucking and jerking. It has the stock optispark. My question is that with the o2 sensors disconnected since they have gone bad, would that cause the car to run really rough and also it has the stock fuel pump and it has a hard start problem.

Thanks

Erfan

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your car?

i would definately go ahead and get that fuel pump changed first -- also, did it have all this rough driving when you test drove the car (you did test it out before purchasing it with such major mods, correct?), or was it after you had it and disconnected the sensors - or were they disconencted when u got it? sry, little confused........but congrats w/ ur LT1, and welcome to the board

I traded my buddy a 1993 Cavalier 2 door, 4 cylinder plus 4K cash for it. Its got 17" Chrome ZR-1's and its lowered with the Mystic Chameleon.

Ford makes the SVO injectors, its common to buy them since they work great and are cheap. They come in 30lb, 36lb, 42lb

i know bad o2s can cause hesitation and surging, --when u take off from a stop does it hesitate, or is it only when u let off the gas and "coast"? hard to say whats wrong, but for now just get some new o2s, and check ur fuel pressure -- if poor, filter? pump? -let me know what happens

Which set of O2s are unplugged? Front or Rear? If its the front yes that would cause big issues, if its the rears those can have o2 simms put in or be programmed out in the ecu.

If you have LT1 Edit i gather you have a laptop. Just download datamaster for free and scan the car to see what DTCs you get.

Just wanted to say, sounds like a nice ride. Have to post some pics. Also with those mods, what does it run the 1/4 mile?
