Question for those of you with the SLP CAI.

Just recently I noticed that there is a hole in the back of the intake where it appears that there should be a hose on. Apparently this has been off my intake for a while, blowing valuable air right out of it. Anyone know what this could be and if so, where should it lead to?

Maybe you're talking about the hose that comes from the air pump on the driver side of engine. It gets it's air from the intake.

Air pump hose, you could just block it off

The hose that goes on it is decently thick and noticable. It shouldn't be hard top spot if it is still there.

My secondary AIR pump is gone. Does it have to do with the smog stuff?

If the AIR pump is gone, then the hose would be gone then too. Just plug off the fitting on the air intake duct.

Incidentally, it doesn't blow air out, it sucks dirt in. Not good for the health of the engine.

Just for yucks why don't see how dirty the throttle blades are?
