Question for Shoebox

In the GM Camaro Parts Catalog, which is the driver's side, RH or LH?

Re: Question for Shoebox

Driver's side is the side the driver's seat is on, which is either RH or LH depending on how you look at the car. Generally, the driver's side is considered the left side, as everything else in the car is right of the driver.

I appreciate you clearing that up for me, but that's really not my question. I need to know what RH and LH refer to in the GM Parts catalog.

Re: Question for Shoebox

Left Hand is to the left as you face the front, standing BEHIND the car..
Right Hand is the right of car facing the front, standing behind it..
Never do this looking at the car FROM the front of the car [that would be backwards..]

Why dont you read my post again. I made it pretty clear that the driver's side is considered the left-hand side

Re: Question for Shoebox

So are you saying the "left" bank of a V8 block is also the left side (or driver's side) of the car?

Just went through the parts manual to doublecheck, and yes, that appears to be correct. At least as far as GM parts are concerned.

Notice that gives you a clue as to which side is LH and which is RH. Stand in the back and look toward the front.

Re: Question for Shoebox

Okay, thanks guys!
Not trying to give you a hard time, Spinner, just looking for something more definitive than "generally..." but thanks.
