Question Regarding OBDI Swap

Hey im gunna switch to OBDI from OBDII
do i need anything else other then the knock sensor?
what about to use with Lt1 edit?
My buddy has a cable for his OBDI, would i be able to use that?

Does the new computer have a knock module in it. Mine didn't. If not you need a new knock module.

As for the cable, What year car does he have? 93 and 94 have OBD1 style connectors, but I think they started changing the connectors in 95. Some have OBD1 some have OBD2 style. Then in 96 up they have OBD2 style connectors.

You don't need LT1 edit to switch, but if you want to play with it you will need some kind of editting software.
