If I remember correctly mine came with one on the bottom of the pump. I would think that without one it would have a hard time sealing.

Then you did not get the Racetronix FLT1-FPA.
Contact the dealer from whom you purchased your pump assembly to get the right one. The one you have can not be converted for F-LT1 application by the end user.

BTW where did you purchase your fuel pump kit (not the harness)?

Perhaps if you were a bit more forthcoming with this information when you first made your post we would be able to resolve this matter for you sooner. Your post makes it sound as if you were ripped by Racetronix or its dealers because you were sent something incomplete or the wrong item!

What is the part number on the box for the pump? Was it used / open when you bought it from your friend? All Racetronix pump boxes have a quality assurance seal.

You wrote in your e-mail:

"i dont have the box with me but it says it says racetronix on the bags..and says for 93-97 fbody...everything fits right im just missing that Oring(it wasn't on the pump when i took the red cap off) and that ribbed hose. I just wanna purchase those separately so that i dont have to purchase a whole new kit."

The bag label only applies to the harness not the pump. The pump comes in a box! Does the pump have a grove machined in the side of the white plastic inlet on the bottom of the pump or is it smooth all the way around? Does this kit have anything to do with a person named Matthew?

If you have the wrong pump sending you the parts is not going to help.

Agree - I actually couldn't remember if I put it in so I took the bucket apart after I glued it....well, turns out it was in, and then I had to use some epoxy (lets hope it was fuel safe) to glue the lid on.... No problems over a year later tho....
