A question for the car gods

Tonight when I got home I pulled the e-brake and my low trac light came on. It is also making a clicking sound as the light flashes. Any advice? I need all the help I can get!

Thanks, Dave

Re: A question for the car gods

a lot of times those lights, as well as the abs inop light will come on when you do anything with the braking. the low trac is a pretty random light. i had mine come on when i perfected the 1-2 tire spinning shift. it just goes away though. i don't get that light... like you wouldn't be able to tell if you were spinning the tires.

Re: A question for the car gods

I sure hope it does quit. I've never had any problems with the car except this past week everything has gone to s**t. I just dont understand the clicking sound it's making. It sounds like it is coming from the porportioner. And I'm not quite sure how the trac control works on these cars yet.

Re: A question for the car gods

haha, i've had that light come on during the most stupid obvious times. its like "really? low traction, eh? i guess ice and rubber wheels= low traction..."

and then there was a time i lost all traction driving down the highway after hitting a water puddle in the road in the rain and spun 180* around... the light never came on!?

on topic: did you shut the vehicle off and then back on again and see if it had gone away. the traction control shouldnt have anything to do with the e-brake as far as i know. so i dont know how pulling it would cause the light to go on. if it didnt reset when you shut it off and back on again, then i would pull the battery for about 5 minutes to see if it reset then.
