Does the Optima yellow top battery fit in the same place as the stock battery without any modification (in a 94 Z)?
The reason I ask is that Optima sells an adapter for GM cars that doesn't look like it would fit our battery rack.

I have that battery in my 95 T/A and it fits fine, you do not need any adapter.

I installed it using a top battery hold down and the long bolts put under the stock tray and tightened it down. It looks good and holds much better than the stock setup (besides, the stock bracket was broke off the tray... ).
