Will i still pass even if i have o2 Sims? And will they be able to tell that i have them?

If so will i have to find a shop that wont care and will pass me?

Re: Question about o2 Sims and emissions

Well O2 sims are primarily for the back O2's so you can remove or gut the cats and not get an SES light for cat efficiency. Therefore if you gutted the cats, you probably won't pass but that depends on the intensity of the testing. If you removed the cats and they can tell by looking, you may fail like here in VA. Many places will fail you for having cut outs. Of course you should never put sims on the front O2s so we know you didn't do that. Best to go to an independant repair shop and have them analyze the exhaust to see how you stand.
