Question about LT headers?

Question about LT headers?

will i have to remove the cat if i put in long tube headers? anything else should i know?

Yes, the cat will have to be removed for header installation. It will be pushed back towards the rear of the car.

Unless you get Jet-Hots LTs with emmisions junk on it, your EGR and AIR have to go but I'm sure you knew that. Cats will be pushed back, or you can just not run them like some of us without emissions testing do if you dont have it either. More than likely you will need to jack up the engine at least on the pass. side. Also you should go with over the valve cover wires for ease of installation and maintenence, but you can always route the wires in the stock location without any problems. With OVC wires, you will need a universal set that you cut and crimp yourself which is very easy to do.
