Question about the intake.

I just got a new lt1 intake for my z28, and also a set of stainless steel bolts for the engine. So my question is, do I have to use some sealing material on the bolts, when I will do install my intake on the engine, or on any of those "big" bolts (looks some kind of plugs) what goes inside of the intake?
Thanks.

Re: Question about the intake.

The "plugs" on the side of the intake are vacuum barbs (used to attach your vacuum lines - brake booster, EGR, etc); use teflon sealer to install those. No sealant necessary for the bolts that hold the intake to the heads.

Re: Question about the intake.

I do use sealant on the intake bolts as most of the bolts are exposed to oil in the valve cover area. The sealant keeps oil from migrating up the threads.
