Question about installing SVO 30# Injectors

I installed some Ford SVO 30# injectors on my TA this past weekend and have a question! I noticed that after the fuel rail is back on the intake manifold, the injector can either be pushed all the way into the manifold or into the fuel rail! Which one should I push it into fully? When I pushed it into the rail all the way, I could see the o-ring on the injector at the intake manifold end!! I guess the stock injectors are a little longer. What did you do?
Thanks!

I used 37# racetronix injectors and had the same issue. I just tried to place them right in the center......no problems so far.

Have they moved on you?

Not yet, they've been on there about a month and a half. The first time I put them on they leaked BAD! but then I figured I'd wiggle them till they were right in the center and then bolt down the rail.........worked like a charm so far.

Re: Question about installing SVO 30# Injectors

I just installed mine a couple of weeks ago and wondered the same thing. I put it together off of the car first and noticed what you are saying. After looking close at it I decided that all the way down in the intake was how I was going to do it. It looked like to me that if it wasn't all the way in the intake there might be some deflection and not give a good pattern...so that's how I did it. I have driven it a couple hundred very hard miles since install with no problems or leakage...hope that helps!!.
