question about going from 1.5 to 1.6 RR

do i need to change my pushrods? i have 1.5RR in the car now, and i have 1.6RR to put in, will this change my lift geometry enough that i would have to go to a longer pushrod?

a pushrod length checker is the proper way to do it, but I used 7.200" pushrod on stock lifters for both.

I would say you'd be fine with the stockers.

I used the stockers, the hot cam kit which includes 1.6 RR's is made for hte LT1 and doesnt include them, so GM must not think you need them either.

I used the stock pushrods with my Pro Mags. On later year LT1s you can use the stockers if you are using self aligning rockers. With guideplates you will need hardened pushrods.

If you're still running stock valve springs, I would consider replacing the springs to prevent coil bind with the larger rocker ratio.
