OK heres the thing. When installing my new engine i got the EGR block off kit and put it on and now I have this problem where my car feels sluggish and has a rough idle(Rougher than the cc305 should),and surges hard just letting first gear take the car on idle.Sometimes the car will be pulling high RPM and then drop off and then pick back up again. I was wondering if there was anything that needed to be done along with just installing the plates.Also wondering if it could be a bad IAC.Also I cant let the clutch out slowly in first and let the idle carry it(car shutters hard and will stall).checked all the plugs,coil,and vaccum lines and blocked off the old EGR vac. hose.I am at a loss here.

If its not miss firing, when was the last time you changed the opti

 

been about 80k, I have a new one sitting in my trunk about to instal it friday.Any idea how much the CAP AND ROTOR PART cost? You think that could be it?

 

My car was having the same rpm dropoffs and I took apart my opti to clean it and found the shutter wheel was loose and throwing the timing off
