Question Question about cleaning injectors?

I have a suspicion that one of my injectors may be leaky/sticky, and I want to get them cleaned with the machine. I work at a {cough}Ford{cough} dealership and we have an injector cleaning machine. Would the machine be able to clean my injectors even though it's not a Ford or are they pretty much universal?

Thanks.

Careful that Ford machine doesn't infect your injectors.

Just playin with ya, go ahead, just don't tell them where the injectors came from.

hehe. They all know what I drive and where my loyalty stands.

I like the Ford trucks though, I'd take a Powerstroke anyday.

Anyway thanks guys, one of these days I'll have to pull them and have them cleaned. Anyone know how well the machines work? I'm hoping thats what my rough idle/rough starts is from.

If you've got an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, I'd check that. Mine leaked fuel through the vacuum hose into the manifold so I never could get my fuel calibration correct. Once I replaced it, the car started, idled, and drove 100 times better.

Yeah, Ford trucks are nice, I'd like a Lightning myself. They look sweet.
