Question about cam specs

Hey guys, I've been looking around for awhile to get a cam done and I've gotten a recommendation from cam motion. I dont think they'd mind if I posted the specs since I'm not telling which lobes they're using. Here's what they suggest:

231/238 @ .50, .570/.582 lift, 112 LSA

That seems like alot of duration to me for my 6300 RPM shiftpoint, of course I
don't really know jack **** about cams. What do you guys think? The application
is street only with a 6300RPM shiftpoint, but ***** to the wall besides that.

With the LE2 heads, you might consider a compatible LE cam. As a wild guess, the cam Lloyd would recommend might be a tad bit different from what you mentioned.

I'de call them up and ask them about it. I doubt that cam would even peak by 6300. How much advance does it have ground into it?

Thats way too much cam for a 6300RPM shift.

6300RPM's is like stock heads, LE1, Hot Cam, 503, 305, etc. territory.

Mines a 222/226 and the 1-2 shift is set at 6400. I don't know much about cams either though.

That sounds pretty big for what you want. My LE1 cam with your heads ran its fastest time shifting at 6400.

Yes it is too much duration. You can ask Lloyd about a cam or ask me we might be able to cover you on this.
