Question Question about alternator(97)
How many watts does the stock alternator come in 97's WS.6/SS 140? 100? I wanna upgrade my alternator but not sure what the stock ones bring

You're alternator is not rated in "watts" it's rated in Amps... a LT1 alternator is 140A.

so what year did they come out with 100A???

There is no '100' amp CS144 alternator..
there are only 140 and 124 amp but all Z's as far as I know came with 140 amps
