Quaker state high performance oil any good?

Quaker State has all kinds of oil. My 97SS came with all synthetic QS. Semi Synthetic is just that (not pure synthetic).
I use Mobil 1 in the engine and QS in the rear. I guess most gear oils are the same because they apparently don't have all the additives that engine oils have in them.
I use QS semi in my Bronco. Seems to work very nicely.
