Quadrant Driver???
Quadrant Driver???
My 1995 Z28 Automatic transmission was making a wierd noise at its normal shift point when the car was floored and it didn't shift into the higher gear unless i letoff the gas. I had the car diagnosed on the computer, and it alerted a problem in the transmission, the quadrant driver. What is this, how much is the part, and is it a hard thing to replace? Thanks
Sorry I dont know the exact code, the garage ran a diagnostic and he just told me that. He didn't do that type of work but reffered me to some people will do it. He said that a shop will re-diagnose it when they fix it anyway because they dont just take other peoples words for it as far as what codes came up. He just told me quadrant driver. So what do I need to fix and what does it entail?

There are drivers used by the 1995 pcm, but the code would be specific to what was really seen as a problem. The 1993 just said "quad driver" and you had to figure it out among several things it could be.
