Q on dtc 22 code

Q on dtc 22 code
my check engine light comes on and off... but i get dtc 22(tps low voltage) and dtc 44(left o2 lean indicated).
my question is i have a little miss/stumble right along the 1000rpm range especially when the engine is warm...could this be a result of the tps problem? Or is this just another problem....
thanks!

I'm not real familiar with 93's so give me a little latitude here. A 22 means there is a signal problem with the TPS signal going back to the PCM. First check from the black to the gray wire to be sure with the key on you have 5 volts at the sensor. Then check to be sure you have a varying signal from the blue to the black wire as you move the throttle from closed to WOT. The voltage should go smoothly from near 0 to near 5 volts. If you see the varying voltage at the sensor, next check the blue wire where it connects to the PCM. This is where I don't know the wiring of the 93 PCM.
O2 lean is simple. There is probably a short to ground on the signal wire for the Left bank O2. If not, try clearing the code, and swap the O2's for clarification.
Either of the 2 can render poor performance. Best to remove the problems you know first instead of speculating what else could be the problem.
One other thing since I'm here. It might not be the best thing in the world to be using 26# injectors in an engine(albeit stock) that normally uses 22#ers in batch fired mode. Much less when an O2 indicates it's running lean. Capish?

What do you think happens when the O2 indicates it's running lean? The PCM fattens it up. So 26's supply even more then the original 22's. Since only one side is indicating it's lean, more than likely the reading is false. (not always) So one of the first things you look at are the plugs from that side.
There are other reasons it could indicate lean such as an exhaust leak. But you should be able to hear that. Some times it is wrongly thought the sound of the leak is a ticking.
Either you do as I mentioned before or you scan it in real time to see what the O2's and the fuel trims indicate. Which you may end up doing anyway.
