Put the mailorder tune in the car and went to the track last night...

A little dissapointed with the results (still on street tires), but it was about 20* hotter and a lot more humid than when I went untuned... that and the car is still running rich, going to try to get it on a dyno next week to find out for sure.

1st pass -
60': .2060
1/8: 8.438
mph: 86.77
1/4: 12.964
mph: 109.44

2nd pass -
60': 2.116
1/8: 8.524
mph: 86.28
1/4: 13.077
mph: 108.70

3rd pass -
60': 2.053
1/8: 8.473
mph: 86.34
1/4: 13.024
mph: 108.78

4th pass -
60': 2.051
1/8: 8.443
mph: 86.63
1/4: 12.968
mph: 109.31

5th pass -
60': 1.995
1/8: 8.429
mph: 85.79
1/4: 13.003
mph: 108.36

Could have gotten a couple more runs in but I had to get home. I really wanted to get atleast a 12.7xx out of it last night but I guess I wont be able to do that rolling out, I need to get some drag radials.

Quit screwing around and put some stickies on that thing. 109 mph is mid to low 12's for petes sake.

I was hoping to see atleast 112 out of her on motor, maybe with drag radials who knows. The better my car hooks the more it always traps. We will see.

I disagree w/ MeanGreen, the MPH is not there. Something sounds way off. What heads/cam do you have in there?

Cam only in weather like what you're talking about I can run 110mph traps at least.. with a 224/230.

*edit* I read that you have an LE3 on that car.. you should be putting down much better #'s than that. i think a trip to the dyno is in order to see wtf is going on. That car should be trapping high 1-teens.

The timing on that PCM was retarded for nitrous. That would account for at least 3-4 MPH. It would still be low, but with a better 60' you'll gain another couple of MPH.

The tune was ordered for no nitrous, I wasn't going to spray the car untill it gets dyno tuned. I thihnk I might have to talk to you about a tune, I might want to try your tune.

Oh and a NX Wet Kit, but that is not on the car at the moment.

And I know they are more of a guestimation gauge but my autometer air:fuel gauge goes straight to rich as soon as the gas pedal is pressed.

should still trap 113+ in bad air with those mods. your 60' doesn't affect your trap speed much as long as you're not bogging, you could use more stall with that cam, sure you're tuned right for those 36# injectors? send your tuner a datalog and he'll update it for you.

I would have been happy with 112, I was hoping that with a good tune the car would go atleast 115 on motor, but I don't know about that now. From what the car ran before and what it dynoed before it seems like the car is only putting about 320 to the wheels, and that (to me) seems way off.
