pushrods for upper 6k rpm and solid cam

I have an 94 with the hardened pushrods, do I need the chromoly or is that not needed. New hardened pushrods maybe? springs are comp cams 977-16's has ti retainers and stock valves.

I assume that you are installing/have installed larger RRs----if they are non-self aligning, then you will need hardended PRs to go along with your guides, but if you already have them, you should be good to go. On the other hand, if you are getting Ti retainers, you might as well make sure you have the hardened prs. JMHO

I would definatly get chromoly pushrods, I've seen my friend bend regular hardened ones with a hydrolic roller, some of them actually broke in half from getting caught on parts when they bend and it wasn't from an over-rev, they just weren't strong enough.

I was leaning towards chromoly because of the nature of the cam which my dumb *** left out the info on. I just wanted to be sure I wasnt wasting money. Its a 230/236 solid roller... high .5's lift.

sounds like expensive pushrods would be cheap insurance for a solid roller.

Yeah last place you want to skimp on pushrods is on a Solid Roller.
