Pushrod Question...

I am putting a cam into my car and my new valvesprings have 320lbs when open, Should I get Hardened pushrods or chromoly, or use my stockers, I have a 95 LT1. I have read somewhere that 95's had hardened pushrods. I would buy chromoly but I really cant affoard them right now. I have 7/16 studs and guide plates. The cam makes power till about 6500. Any other info needed just ask. Please help. Thanks.

i think you'd be fine with the stockers (yes, they are hardened, last year for hardened factory rods actually )

Re: Pushrod Question...

100$ for piece of mind. You might need a slightly different size anyway. Its a small price to pay considering what can go wrong.
