pushrod and head quetions!! pls help!!
I am about to be set with head and cam install list. But I am not sure on things like pushrods and rr's. Here is my list, please help with what else I need, also what size pushrods do I need?
LT4 Heads
LT4 Intake
Comp Cam 224/230
Intake Gaskets
Header Gaskets
Head Gaskets
Comp Cams 1.6 RR 3.8 stud? Not sure on that
Comp Pushrods what size?
Comp Cams Lifters
Lunati Timing Chain
Also should I get a new throttle body? Is there anything else I need, I am ready to get this started. Please help!!!!

Well if your not having the heads shaved or block decked then you can use stock size pushrods which I believe are 7.200. Just call wherever you order your parts from and get a stock size replacement pushrod. You'll need timing gasket and water pump gasket. Don't need new throttle body unless you want one. A 52mm wont hurt if you have the money. Also don't forget you'll need a tune on your computer. 1.6RR's are good but I would get 7/16 studs, you can order those anywhere. They are 3/8 at the bottom screw in part but the top for the rocker to sit on is 7/16. Also won't hurt to change plugs, wires, opti if necessary, and sensors, while you got it apart. Have fun it seems tough when you tear it apart but once your done it's not that bad.
I would also get rid of your AIR and EGR, both pretty simple just pull em out and block off hoses.

Not sure, but I'd be willing to be they're not 7/16.
Just out of curiousity, why the LT4 heads and intake with the 224/230? If you throw the $$ you'd be spending on those at getting your LT1 heads ported and polished with a custom grind cam to match, you'd blow the doors off that LT4 heads & XE cam. You'd save a very nice chunk of change along the way too.
