purge solenoid

Does it matter on the evap purge solenoid where the two hoses go when i replaced the part i didnt remember if they need to be in the right spot

Hry dudes thank u so much the lines were in the wrong spot but wat happens anywsy if they arent in their spots??

You can end up sucking charcoal from the canister into the lines. On an OBD-II car, it would cause a trouble code.
