Pure Choice or stock
Is the pure choice fuel line kit any good? Is it cheaper to buy the kit or find your own parts?
I think my stock lines at the quick connect at the fpr is allowing my pressure to immediatly drop. I can hear an "air" sound around the connectors, so I dont know if an o ring is bad or whats going on there. Brand new fuel pump, and when car was running it was like 10 psi lower than it should have been (cant remember exactly what psi it was at) New fpr also.

Post a link of the "Pure Choice" fuel line kit. Never heard of it.

Re: Pure Choice or stock
If the fuel rail male ends where the Push Loc fittings go on is scratched bent or marred that kit won't help. Verify the stock male ends of the fuel rail is in good shape then ensure the lines are pushed on as far as they can go.
Again, is it leaking fuel?

I don't think it was leaking, but it could have been I guess.
The car hasn't ran in months but I have a new engine i'm getting ready to install and I know I had issues before so I just wanted some opinions if this kit would be good to install and save the hassle of trying to figure out what was wrong.

Sorry, i'm pretty sure I tried two different fpr with the male ends on them and it was the same thing. Actually sounded like air leaking, but could have been gas.that sound was there just when I primed it at the wire under the hood also.

Re: Pure Choice or stock
A hissing sound without fuel leakage is probably a vacuum leak.
If it were the fuel rail it would be leaking fuel under the 40 psi pressure in teh system, not just hissing...

It appears to be a quality kit to replace the stock nylon lines with braided S/S lines and -AN compression adapters for the fuel rail hard lines. I don't see a price but I'm sure two 90" braided S/S lines and the four fittings are not going to be cheap. Nice upgrade but why?
A new set of the stock lines is about $20.
A hissing noise when you prime the pump may indicate the check valve in the pump has failed and is allowing the fuel to drain out of the supply line. When the pump turns on the fuel will have to force the air through the supply line, through the rails, through the regulator and down the return line.
