Pulling pistons

Pulling pistons

If the cradle, and oil pan is dropped. Can you drop any(which ones?)/all of the pistons out the bottom? I have heard different opinions.

I am almost positive they all have to come out the top. I have never had a newer LT1 apart, but I have taken apart a lot of older SBC and 70's LT1s. And they all had to come out the top because of the way the block is designed.
