I have also heard good things about Auto Upkeep: Basic Car Care, Maintenance, and Repair. Has anyone used this for the fbody?

No familiar with that publication. Haynes or Chilton are typically what people get if they don't have a Factory Service Manual. Most auto part stores carry the Haynes and or Chilton that are vehicle/year specific
