Re: Are pullies worth the money?

only worth it if you buy one of those nitride pullies with the ballancer built in... other wise if it's the piggy back kind... it's a total waste money.

Re: Are pullies worth the money?

what makes the piggy back a waist of money and what makes the nitride pulley worth it?

Re: Are pullies worth the money?

I see nothing wrong with the piggy back underdrive crank pulley. It keeps the stock balancer while driving the accesories slower, saving you power. I had one on my last engine, but my ATI damper is one piece so I could not reuse it. I have it for sale if you are interested in it Matt

I've used both setups. I didn't notice anything really untill I went with the one piece.

What's a "nitride" pulley?

.... or do you possibly mean "integrated" pulley/damper?

Its just the same. Its a billit underdrive pulley. I cant believe they claim .1-.15 seconds in the quarter

There was definantly a noticable difference between the two versions. Every gain counts, not to mention it's allot more pleasing to look at under the hood.

Re: Are pullies worth the money?

"Nitride" is the finish they apply to some of their pullies.

LS1's gain more HP because they have a belt driven water pump.

Re: Are pullies worth the money?

man you guys get so technical about every thing. I just called them nitride's because I forgot the name of the actual pulley. I installed it almost 2 years ago.
