Have the March 2-pulleys on my SS m6. No problems to date. Actually think I gained a little better throttle response.

Theoretically, less parasitic drag should put more power to the rear, but not an engineer, so take it for what its worth. JMHO

No, you misunderstood. I realize that the waterpump is driven off the cam, my question was, for those people who have switched to an electric pump, there is no longer the parasitic drag associated with the waterpump, so would you see more hp with an electric pump AND pullies?

Would the alternator provide enough current for the electric water pump and all the other stuff after the pulleys? This could be interesting... what about getting a higher-performance alternator that generates more and has less resistance (more efficient), getting pulleys, and then switching to an electric water pump? I doubt it's worth the hp for most of us but it might be worth looking into.

Don't feel bad, just compare yourself to what else is out there. We have a track here that's slow unfortunately. I ran a 9.15@79 stock. Now I run a 9.0@82 with current bolt ons. That last time is with me completely letting off the accelerator on the 1-2 shift so I won't kick the rear end sideways However that 9.0 was enough to handle all the LS1s at the track last time, except for one with bolt ons and drag radials.
