piston matched to stroke?

piston matched to stroke?

if a piston is made for a 3.50 standard stroke and i run in a 396 setup 3.850 stroke what all will happen if anything? im looking at buying some part #181916 JE pistons there -5cc flat tops but there for a 3.50 stroke. can i run them? thanks guys

The pistons must be made for the stroke you are useing. The wrist pin location is raised for a stroker. It is raaised half the amount of the stroke increase.
