what is 1v power steering pulley and can you tell me where to get one?

You aren't going to gain much with an U/D pulley, particularly the "sandwich" type, that add weight to the front of the crank. That note at the bottom appears to be in the wrong place.... there is no "V" belt on on LT1. The serpentine pullies work fine with the stock PS and A/C clutch pullies.

oh ok... i want a pully that will replace the original pulley...

can you point me in the right direction?

why are pulleys so effective on the mustangs?

When you install an underdrive pulley ,it should free up some hp from the accessories but... the lt1 got a gear driven water pump(no belt) so you dont gain really much from the rest.

The only one a know that can give you a little bit of hp but would help bringing the rev quicker is the ASP 945100 23% underdrive damper pulley.This one replace the stocker completely and is a damper.

Stay away from sandwich type pulley,TOTAL JUNK

Didn't horsepower tv get 9 wheel horsepower from an underdrive install on an LT1?

would this work and what would be the benifit?

The ASP is a good piece and is not a sandwich type pulley as is the March set.
