I pulled the heads, the side that was leaking had some coolant in it, I used some shop towels to soak it up. But now looking into them, there is like grainy carbon stuff that had fallen in there. I was very carefull when I was doing it, but I think it was unavoidable. Also, I definitly found the chamber that the gasket failed on. The piston is nice and clean, and that chamber looks different then the other chambers. So, will everything be alright?
Also, I might need to make a second post for this, but has anyone re-bearinged a motor while it is in the bay? I have most everything out and I am doing a cam swap w/105k on the ticker.
THanks,
James

Should I then put each piston to the top and clean it out with some carb cleaner and a shop rag, to get the little stuff out?
