Pull valve cover???????

I already knwo the answer.... but maybe someones more clever.


Can you pull the Passengerside Valve cover off with the altinator in place?

No, you can't, but the alternator only takes a short amount of time to take it off, I took mine off helicoiled it, and put it back on within 15 minutes, the hardest part was doing the belt. And I might add it was my first helicoil i've ever done.

The ALT can be pulled in less than five minutes.

The belt comes off easily, 13mm socket and a long handled ratchet or breaker bar on the tensioner center bolt.

Trust me I know, I just forgot to bring my jacks with me.... damn... time to pull this thing off again....

The belt took me the longest because i had the car on the ground. I don't even use a long handled ratchet for it. I have a little stubby ratchet I use.

13mm wrech is what I use....and if you're limber, you can get it from the top
