puking out coolant. In my 93 trans am

My car a 93 T/A will not hold the coolant in above 2000 rpm any more. It heats up and spits it out of the overflow canister. If I baby the car I can drive it with out this problem. But as soon as I put my foot to the floor it comes out. I put a new thermostat in about 1-2 months ago. I just put a new rad cap on. It had a menzier electric pump on it which i thought wasnt flowing enough water any more so I bought a new one. Once I pulled out the menzier I checked it out of the housing it spun the impeller prettty fast. Anyhow now I am going to put in my new CSI because the old pump had about 25000km or 17000miles (approx.)on it. But now that I have seen the old one work I doubt that is the problem and doubt that the new pump will fix it. The only other thing I can think of is I put those coolant system sealant tabs in the rad and it clogged up the heater core wich had to be blown out many times for the heat to work.
Do I need my whole cooling system flushed now? and will the chemicals used in a flush hurt my new CSI pump? Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.

I would say yes flush your whole system. is it getting hot? Something is putting too much pressure into your system .

I dont know if this is related but I had to replace my "freeze plugs" twice since 1994 becuase of coolant leaking out of them.

Drain/Flush your system. When you add the new water back in, MAKE SURE you properly bleed the coolant system. There are those two bleed valves on the coolant hose going to thewaterpump and the one directly above the thermostat. Open them until no air comes out, only liquid without bubbles. Air in the system will easily cause you to overheat when you get on it.

Oh yeah one more thing, if you unplugged your fans to your radiator, make sure you plug them back in It's a given, but sometimes you forget the simple stuff.

Yea, sounds like you got some air in there, id flush everythign real good, let it sit overnight with some of that prestone super flush. Also flush the heater core with a hose, the F-bos are notoriously bad for sloing in there. Hope thi helps!
