Prothane motor mount inserts don't seem to fit right?

I'm trying to install Prothane motor mount inserts in my stock clam shells and they don't seem to fit right. Is this normal? Will the weight of the motor "squish" them in? The stock rubber inserts match up to the indentations on the clam shells, but the Prothanes seem to be different. It also seems that they are to big to fit. Has anyone had any problems?

Thanks
