I'll probably look into getting the street kit then. Would allow me to still have light weight breaks but be usable on the street. I probably only put 4k miles on my car a year. But would suck for something to happen because of the breaks.

I use the 5/16" spacer w/ my 3.5" prostars.... After installing the wheel, remember it compresses quite a bit and gives you a bunch more thread.. I have to turn the lugnut quite a few times to get it off, so I'm not concerned about it at this point in my car's life

I use my ZR1's too often and have yet to figure out a way to cover the long studs when I use my street wheels.

This is why I'm not going to buy nice rims and tires and just gonna cruise around with the Prostars. Atleast the prostarts dont look all that bad. I will probably end up buying another set of Prostars for the back and put actual tires on them so I don't have to drive on my Quick Times.

I'm not worried about my car, more worried about me

I have SS wheels as my street wheels. The plastic covers on the lugs fit over the long studs, even though they stick out from the lugs.

tru, didn't mean to say i wasn't worried about me, just meant i was confident those lugs aren't going anywhere... it grabs alot of thread in my opinion..

but you say the caps cover up the long studs huh? i may end up looking into it then
