Unless you have overhead cams like I do. Custom job I got done last year. Netted me near 100 hp on the dyno.

Yeah just build your own motor...no docs, Heck even with docs you're not guaranteed quality work. So unless he has a shop that you can go and talk to the guys who put the shortblock together or the machine shop that did the work on the block, I'd pass on this one.
