Props to Bryan, who never ceases to amaze

I got a new tune on my car the other night from Bryan (pcmforless) and it ran like crap. I got an SES light cruising in 6th gear that would reset itself when i parked the car. Bryan pondered it a minute without even scanning the car and says to me
"did you undo the map sensor to remove the manifold?"
yes
"There is a little orange seal in there that sometimes people crush when they put it back together and they aren't carefull, check that, maybe put some vacuum grease on it if you can find some"
Sure enough I pull the Map sensor and the gasket is a lil mangled.Simply amazing. So obviously i'm not the first bozo to have pushed their map back in without proper care for the seal. Conveniently i work in a clean room with a bunch of vacuum pumps and got myself some vac grease.

Hopefully my cousin can "borrow" one of a shelf map sensor at the poncho dealer he works at and they can replace it when the one i ordered comes in. Even if it doesn't cure the slight problem, it was still a great jedi mind trick!

So to sum it up
1) Be carefull when plugging in the MAP sensor into the manifold if you ever have yours out.

2) always listen open mindedly to your elders because sometimes their experiences give them more insight into the situation then you can even imagine.
