Progress pics of my cam swap

I've been working on my 96 Formula. Installing a CC503 cam, new lifters, hardened pushrods, guide plates, Crane NSA 1.6 full roller rockers, Crane 10308-1 Valve springs and a new Opti.
I've taken my time and cleaned and polished.

The cause for the tear-down

Congrats. Um, what's the plan for headers - any? I've always been of
the opinion that the car should have good breathing fore and aft before
doing internal engine mods.

I agree, but the lifter failed on me so when I tore it down I decided to do the valve train. I spent over a grand on parts and my budget wouldn't allow for headers yet. They'll be coming soon. I'm going with coated Pacesetter LTs with an ORY. I allready have a Ram Air hood.

Headers with that cam will really wake that car up. Good luck with the installation.

Duh (me)! I missed the borked lifter. Good call on the upgrade!

Nice progress so far, you'll see a big difference when everything is done. Did that lifter wipe out the cam lobe as well?

Yes, the cam lobe was toast.
I plan to start it tonight.
Here's the latest pic.
