A factory shop manual will tell you all of the codes and how to read the VIN to show the sequence number the car was assembled in. You can get used ones for a good price.http://www.factoryautomanuals.com/products.htm

Here is a good site for RPO codes

This is about complete as i can find, it goes from 93-2002, so some apply while others dont. Hope it helps

The last 6 digits of your VIN is your cars production sequence. It starts at 100,000. Meaning car #1 would read 100001. This number is not exclusive to Z28's or T/A's, but includes all F-bodies, including non LT1's.
