Procomp heads

I just bought a set of procomp heads. Here are some of the #'s I can remember. 64cc 190??? 2.02int 160exh. I'm going with 1.6 rollers 7/16 studs, chrome moly pushrods. What lifters & cam would be best. I'm thinking cc503? yes/no Any help is always greatly appreciated.

The CC503 is a great shelf cam, you can't go wrong with it. As for the lifters, a stock OEM replacement set will suffice. Don't forget to add better springs and a new or upgraded timing chain is a very good idea as well.

GTP . . These heads are going on the 94 vette engine I just picked up. I'm slowly collecting parts so when it's time to rebuild I can just do it. BTW, this is the first engine i'm going to rebuild since 1979. The SS has brought me back from the dead. I love this car more than any Corvette i've owned.

How would the cc306 work?

Heads info

Here is the info on the heads. I've decided to go with the cc305.

These heads feature a multi-angle valve seat design with performance springs. Installed spring height is 1.900" with 1.100" of coil bind. Valve seat pressure is 110lbs. Heads have hardened seats with bronze valve guides. This is the 190cc, straight plug version with advanced port design for greater flow. The 64cc combustion chambers are fitted with 2.02"/1.60" intake/exhaust valves. Heads are built for a hydraulic lift cam with a max lift of .600". The block may stay stock.

Why did you get 64cc combustion chambers? Are you dropping the compression for a blower?

Those heads won't work on an LT1, unless you convert them, unless you got them dirt cheap, they are not a very good head. You would have been better off porting your stockers.
