procarparts.com reverse guage install

Hey guys, im a little stuck. I have a 95 trans am v8. Ive removed everthing off of the stock guages, i removed the 4 bolts that hold the cluster in itself and when i go to pull it out, it wont come out, it moves a bit but feels like its still held in place by somthing. I thought i was suppose to pull out the cluster so that i could get the overlay on over the needles. I have heard it is easier to remove the needles and then put the overlay back on, but when i try to pull off the needles, i feel like they are gonna break. Somone help me out please.

1. Did you disconnect all the screws on the White taps on the
vanilla gauge housing?

2. Don't pull the needles themselves ... pull on the rubber piece that moves the needles... very simple.. if htat's what your doing.

3. Remember the location of the neeldes before you move them.
