Probs!! IAC Connector and Harness??

Ok, found a problem with the wiring to the IAC connector today. Insulation is damaged by heat, and the bare wires are making contact with each other. Now, where do I find a good one? Tried parts stores local, no luck. Is there a way to fix this? We are having erratic idle probs, IAC counts in 140 range, and the car is running RICH. The IAC connector seems ok, it's the wires that are a prob. Advise, help, number where I can get it?? Anything? Thanks!

Its a low voltage circuit. Carefully tape the wires up with common electrical tape, until you can find a replacement pigtail.

Any ideas on where to find another pigtail? Will I need to soulder the wires and shrink wrap them? And as always Injuneer thanks for the great advice.

Solder and heatshrink is a good idea.

The local GM dealer will have or be able to get those. It would be cheaper to get them online.
