probles at high RPM's

It is a 1994 Trans AM
If I let my car sit over night it will drive fine. But soon as I start it agan, right at 3,000 RPM's it will drive rough. It will cut out and have no power. It tries to back fire and some times it does. But if i let it sit over night the next day it will be fine till, i kill it and start it. Please HELP!

Sounds like your in the market for some new plugs and wires.

While you change that might want to change the ignition coil as well.

I have some miles on those plugs, I am sure that is what it is, thanks for the tip.

I never put plugs in a LT-1 is it a bitch?? Thats what i hear.

Only be sure the car is cold(cold heads),before doing the plug change.Do the coil wire first though.My02

It's not going to be easy, you might want to think of alternate ways of routing your wires to, over the top looms or some other fancy method.

I took my taylor 8mm's right through the stock looms but the next time I tackle them they will be going over top. Do a search on the board and see if you can find some pictures and just see what you like.

No need to go OVC unless you have headers.
And yes the plug and wire change is a PITA.
You will just have to suck it up and take the pain, just like the rest of us did.
