problems starting

hey guys...lately my car has had problems starting...it was really cold a few days ago and wasnt starting at all..not even trying..my alarm wouldnt even work like there was no power..when i turned key lights would only turn on a bit but engine dindt try to start..had it towed to teh mechanic..he gave it a tune up..it started......................i dont think that was the problem though although the tuneup did get rid of my stumble throughout the rpms which im happy about tthe car still doesnt start right..im thinking because it was in a garage for 2 days it warmed it up..and its been a bit warmer here..any idea what i should look to change...?

well first off, what was all done in the "tune-up"
most people/shops have different views on what a tune up consists of..

I'd say battery. Batteries don't like cold at all. Since you said your alarm wasn't working ethier, the battery is about the only thing it could be. Did he change or charge the battery during the "tune up"?

Many places will be more than happy to test your battery for you. I would check to make sure connections are tight and clean up the ground wires to your car 1st.
