If I'm not mistaken, the '96s came with hardened pushrods stock.

 

I've always heard it was 93-94, I swear I've heard someone say that almost every year has had hardened pushrods...no one really knows for sure if any of that is true.

 

93-95 came with hardened and 96-97 did not.

 

This is what I've heard as well. Oh well.

 

I thought the later models were the ones with hardened pushrods.

 

Ok, so it was even easier than I thought. The hose connecting to the air check valve was disconnected. What a HUGE relief. I went to dismantle the passenger side valve cover area and I saw it immediately. Wish I just looked earlier. I feel retarded. Happy and retarded.
