Ive being havings two problems so far, the first is simple but a pain. sometimes when putting the ignition key in my car show the security light on and i have to wait like 5 min to make it start, the second problems is when its really cold like 25's my car is hard or starting it takles like 15 secs and rought iddle for like 2 mins and i also have misses at high rpm like 5k-5.4k and sometimes the car feels like if the tranny weas slidding but its a M6 help.

btw my car has about 53,xxx miles and original ignition

Have you checked the fuel pressure? that could be the cause of hard starts.

If you put the key in and turn real real fast, the computer doesnt have time to read the key and it turns the security light on preventing you from starting the car for three minutes. To prevent this, simply put the key in and wait a second or so before turning.

 

could be a number of things from a bad sensor that reads your key which would make your security light come on to either a bad starter or an opti spark for the reason that your car doesnt start and misses does the starter crank when you do turn the key?
