I have BBk shorties and now my exaust is hitting the bottom of my car by the passenger floor panel. Its loud and annoying! Anybody else have this problem with shorty headers? I also removed the CAT, thinking maybe that has something to do with the way its routed.

 

Years ago,I installed some BBKs and had the same problem. My banging noise turned out to be the ypipe hitting the subframe. I had a muffler shop adjust it.

 

I had the same problem, though mine was the Y-pipe rubbing against the heat shield on the passenger side. I also had to dimple the Y-pipe to clear the transmission cooler lines.
